Relax and keep heated towel on area for approximately 45 minutes. (You should feel the heat seeping through.)

Remove towel and plastic wrap when time is up and wash with warm water. Pat dry gently.

Exercise your jaw muscles without even thinking about it by chewing sugarless gum. Not only will this help tighten the appropriate muscles, but will have the added benefit of keeping teeth and gums healthier.

Standing or sitting tall with shoulders back and head up can make an amazing difference if the appearance of a double chin.

* Try Resistance Exercise

Place palm of hand on forehead and push head forward. You will feel immediate resistance in the muscles that will tighten up jaw and chin. Then place hand on back of head and try to push head back against hand. Repeat 3 or 4 times a day.

* Chair Exercise

Sit straight on a desk or office chair (preferably a chair without arms) and place feet on the floor. Hold the bottom of chair with an arm on each side and lean head back as far as is comfortable until you are looking at the ceiling. Now open your mouth as wide as possible, then close. Repeat 10 times. You will feel neck and jaw muscles effected immediately.

*Tapping

Sit up straight and look forward. Start tapping the bottom of your chin with the back of your hand quickly and firmly. Repeat 10 to 15 times. Do a set of these at least 4 or 5 times a day.

* Lower Jaw Exercise

Pull your bottom lip over your bottom teeth using your mouth muscles. Open your mouth as wide as possible while gently jutting your jaw forward. Then close. Do this at least 10 times. You will feel appropriate muscles effected immediately. Repeat this 4 or 5 times during the coarse of the day.
